Nonprofit(s) spotlight

The Hill Library is the public library in Strafford, NH. The staff at Hill Library works to provide free and valuable services to the community. Although we experienced a variety of restrictions over the past year, we continue to provide traditional services, new virtual programs, and are looking forward to providing our group activities when restrictions are lifted. Please go to our website at to find details about or services and programs.

For families, we offer several virtual programs for children on a weekly basis. We have Birthday Baskets that are delivered to celebrate local babies’ first birthdays and introduce them to the library. In fact, anyone with a library card receives a free book to keep on their birthday. We encourage families to enroll in our Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.  We have a toy lending library that has toys, board games, puzzles, snap circuit kits, nature exploration kits, and adventure backpacks. We host a fun Summer Reading Program with online and take-home activities for adults and children each summer.
